The carbon fiber Enlightenment 27.5 frame tickles the scales at 1182 grams for a size medium. It is absolutely light enough to build into a world-beating race rocket, yet sturdy enough for general trail use in rough terrain. The just-right blend of World Cup style nimble handling and stability has cemented its legacy, and this is what gives you the confidence to hammer through sinuous trails with short sightlines.
Modern features include hassle-free, fully internal cable routing, tapered headtube, and BB92 pressfit bottom bracket shell. The Enlightenment 27.5 takes a high-direct mount front derailleur, a 31.6mm seatpost, and a 12x142mm thru-axle rear hub. Complete bikes are available with 1x and 2x build options. The frameset comes with a Cane Creek 1-1/8 - 1-1/2" semi-integrated headset and a Shimano 12x142mm rear thru-axle. It is recommended for use with a 100mm front suspension fork.
